Lilith is the name of a mysterious character of ancient mythology. Kamrul Hasan Nasim has named his film after this character. The screenplay of the film has been written by the director himself. Arman Parvez Murad and Aparna Ghosh have acted in the film.
The shooting of the film has been done in various locations around the capital and Bhogra, Gazipur and some other places from March 18 to April 10. Already 90 percent of the production has been completed, the post production processes are ongoing at the moment.
Regarding the film Kamrul Hasan Nasim says, “Through this story the spiritual side of human life, patriarchy, fear, life-death, protest and reality along with other aspects are going to be shown. Although at first it might seem like something horrific, but later on, the audience will come to engage them with the spirituality. ‘Lilith’ is a film which has been made for all the intellectual people in Bangladesh and around the world. That’s why I want to give this film the title of movie of the planet.”
The protagonist of the film is being played by Aparna Ghosh. According to her, “I was aware of mythical character Lilith from before. As such, when I received the screenplay I spontaneously agreed. This is not like the mainstream cinemas but more like a philosophical journey. I am very happy to have worked in it. The audience will be ensued to think from every dialogue of this production.”
On the other hand, to Arman Parvez Murad, the story is quite different. He says, “This is a very new type of work. I hope that people will become more humane through watching this film. Over all I liked working in the film. The dialogues are quite deep and the screenplay writing has been quite well.”
Ayshya Erin, Indranil Chhetri, Mehrab Piyash, Javed Omar, Shimul Chowdhury, Loren Khan, Enamul Haque and many more are acting in various roles in the film. The director says that the film is to be relapsed this year.
