For the first time in the history of Bangladesh Film and Television, BOISTWAMI Production made a spectacular docufilm titled ‘Jishu esechilo, Asben…’ which has been broadcast on the Christmas day, 25^th December 2019, Wednesday at 11:00 am on MY TV. The show has a repeat telecast on the following day at 4:00am. This 33 minute docufilm on Jesus’s Life and Teachings has been made to showcase the significance of transitory existence of Jesus Christ on the planet earth. ‘The Life and Teachings of Jesus’ is still relevant in the present day. Few of the leading characters of the docufilm have been portrayed by Rudra Hoque as Jesus, Moutushi Biswas as Mother Mary, Jayanta Chattopadhyay as Herod, Taoheed Islam as Pilate, Jabed Omar as Joseph Ben Matthias. Other notable names associated with the project are Editor Enamul Haque, DOP Shahriar Manik, Bhabna, Ahsan Habib Sumon, Rashed Manik, Shimul Chowdhury, Abdullah and Special Guest Aysha Arin. Eminent director Kamrul Hasan Nasim aims to do more research and create more audio-visual productions on such historic characters in coming days.
